I use cloudmark and feel it is worth the $4/month that I think they call $3.99. I retrieve my mail into Outlook and the filters move most of the spam into a spam folder. After the first 30 days of rescuing the few newsletters I really want and tagging them as ok it has been fairly boring.

It does have a big downside. You still have to get the mail to your local before it is filtered. That is still better than letting others dictate to me what is spam and what is not. Server based filters all do that except for Secluda Technologies URL=http://www.secluda.com]Secluda Technologies[/url] .

If they've survived, they have a java based "pre-mail" server that can sit outside the firewall if desired. What is great is that the user is 100% in control receiving self configured digests of the isolated emails (who, where from etc. but no content). You decide who is good who isn't and then the server tells the spam server that nobody is home. Vortech should check out the beta program.

I have noticed delays today as well...supposedly server is fine, but has the server altered it's processing in some way?
