05/30/03 cp.hsphere.cc

Due to the need for emergency work from Psoft the cp.hsphere.cc server is offline. We don't know exactly how long this will take but we due expect it to take at least a couple of hours. During this time you will not be able to access any features of H-sphere to administrate your account, however the web, mail and database servers will remain online. cp.hsphere.cc also serves as ns1.hsphere.cc. Because it's acting as the backup server for most domain names. This will not affect the actual web servers or mail servers and they will continue to operate.

We are in real trouble around here... no records at my domain (crucial.com.br) can be resolved. (hsphere.cc too)... and email / web are all out because of this. Please give us an estimate of when the ns servers will be responding. By the way, can you recommend backup dns servers? Only two seems too fragile for me.

Crucial, you domain is coming up fine for me, can you Private Message me some that are not? I will see if there is anything I can do.

I trust the 99.9 percent uptime guarantee will be honored since the repeated problems with access over the last three weeks go far beyond regualr maintenance.

crossways, that is control panel only, that is NOT your main hosting domain. It was said that this was down, your hosting domains however continue to work.

This was not expected downtime. When there is expected downtime all resellers are emailed in advance.

Since this was not planned, there was no notice email sent.

However, email was sent out about this, it was as said, an emergency, we did not plan to have this cp downtime, but we sent the email so that people woudl know we problems were being experienced.

wow! now I'm getting some strange results... mail1.crucial.com.br can be resolved and I can download my email... but sure ít's cache, cause any other name at the same domain cannot be resolved.

All domains and all mail works fine. 99.9 percent uptime guarantee does not apply to CP outages.

Hello, Psoft informs us that they are in the 'final stage', which includes adding the IP addresses to the machine. So we expect it to be back up real soon.

The control panel is back up now.

Please report any strange errors.
