05/24/03 Mail1.hsphere.cc and mail.hsphere.cc service interruption
We've had some issues with two of our mail servers, this has caused them to become backed up with mail. The Original problem has been corrected but the servers have fallen behind in mail delivery, over the next few hours they should catch up and deliver all mail but it's going to take a little while. Currently the worst cases scenario is for the mail to be delayed until the morning. This problem also affected login's to the two servers, those problem should be intermittent until the server has caught up on it's mail. We're sorry for any unconvinced this may have caused.

Glad to hear that it should be working again soon.
So who spamed this time to back both mail servers up? =o -John |

you say it should affect login, however I have been loggin in without any problems and rather fast too. its just that I cant get any email, it logins in and checks but says no new mail.
I have sent myself numerous emails to test with and still nothing. I also tried to email my excite account and it says it was sent, but in my excite account I dont get it. and visa versa I send from my excite account and I dont get it in my mail1 account or my mail account. I have asked clients that worked today and they said they havent gotten any email since this afternoon. (EST USA) so my question is, is it really fixed and is trying to catch up. and why would delivery stop the receiving end? and visa versa. I guess I just want to be sure that it is going to be fixed by morning. I have a client that is on the other side of the world and will be going to try and check mail in a few hours or so. and I hope that he will get his mail. -John |

Also I still can not send email to myself, from either my mail or mail1, or even from external email from my excite. Please look into this and let me know. I need my email back up and working. So I am still not getting any email and cant send any. Server I am listed on: Unix5 One domain as an example: jscsystems.net Thanks -John |

18 hours since 15 tests, nothing yet guys except this bounce notice (which isn't even addressed to me!!!!) It doesn't mean much to me but it may to you....
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at mail1.hsphere.cc. I tried to deliver a bounce message to this address, but the bounce bounced! <nataly@nataly.org>: user is over quota --- Below this line is the original bounce. This header mentions quota being exceeded, are the new quota settings with atmail sending everything skewy maybe? Or is there some infinite bounce thing going on? (youre over quota so i'll let you know, bounce, oh you're over quota so i'll let you know, bounce, oh you're over quota etc...) |

Still no mail.
I did get a reply from your tech stating " your mail works fine" Yet, I am not receiving mail. It's 3:50pm West coast time on the 25th I get some mail addressed to other people and a few from tech support. None of which I want. I have sent mail to my Hotmail account, it shows sent but doesn't arrive. Vice versa Sent from Hotmail to my account. It doesn't bounce or show up. :| What's going on? James |

Hmmm
I am not getting mail either. I thought it was just a miracle of a slow email day with no SPAM until I checked here. I then sent two test messages to myself and haven't gotten either...
