Regarding nt9

Regarding post: http://www.matrixreseller.com/forum/...?s=&forumid=10

Where is the option supposed to be available to add nt9?

Log in to your 'Admin' control panel - ie the one you use to create plans etc.

Click on 'E.Manager' on the left menu.

Click on 'Server Aliases'.

You will then see a list of the servers; most should already be aliased under your domain but nt9 will be on there with a text box instead. Click the 'Submit' button on the bottom of the page and it will add nt9 to your aliased servers.

Thanks

I must be blind.

Ok, now that I did that, how does it help me? How can I use (setup sites) that specific machine?

At the moment there is no way to specify on which server accounts should be created - although it is possibly in the next version of the control panel software due out shortly (but I can't remember if so or not!).

I believe that most new accounts from now will automatically be setup on nt9 anyway. This is certainly happening for me, and it was mentioned in another post regarding someone recreating their system account on a more stable server than nt10.

Recreating service domain acct

Yes, I did so and "as advertised" it went flawlessly. It was recreated on nt9 and has been running great ever since.

Yes, I did the same and likewise everything is fine atm as far as the system account goes.

But then, I don't think I ever had any problems with NT10, at least it wasn't down when I was trying to use it and my 'every 15 minute' reporting thing didn't report any problems but maybe that just goes to show that free online monitoring systems aren't up to much! But for now I'll just stay happy telling myself that it was all running smoothly...

From your search results screen, just click the account ID # and then look for 'Host Name'

Log into your admin control panel again and go to Search.

Search for all accounts or whichever one you want to see...
Click on the 'Account ID' number of the account you want to check. The server will then be shown under an option 'Host Name'.

edit: oops... excuse duplicated post!
