New ticket system in place!!

Well we thought eSupport was bad some time ago and switched over to Cerberus Helpdesk, well its even worse. None of the search options work and lots of other issues.

We are moving back to eSupport right now, so if you have any issues with a ticket please let us know here. We were able to import everything from Cerberus Helpdesk so if the import worked as it should you should be able to login and see all your old tickets, not like the old switch where users and use lost all tickets to the old system. If a user could test this by just going to the site and logging in would be a great help, I never used the user side of Cerberus Helpdesk.

http://www.propanelsystems.com. $100 for an "unlimited" license for one domain.

Its brand new. (launched just 2 months ago) I really like it and am incorporating it into my new site discarding Kayako even though I paid for a license!.

I don't answer 1000 tickets a day like you guys do, so I cant comment on how it would work for you.

One big positive, they take your suggestions and actually incprporate them into the next release and you chat with the developers right in thr forums.

NO- i have NO financial interest in them, but I would like to see them grow as I do use their product.

It seems passwords were not imported. I requested the system to send my password and could access. All my tickets are there.

Damn you found it before me.

Yep we plan to use it, so you and any one can fill free to use it. I just hope they don't break it there is a new upgrade for this version comeing out in a few days to fix a small backend search issue.

I'm looking at ProPanel right now... the price looks good. Any new comments now that you've been using for a few more months? eSupport looks cool too but it also costs twice as much. Any new ideas on which is better? I don't really have a large volume of support tickets to handle right now but I'd rather spend a little more money now if I need to so I have something decent in place. Does anyone know if they work ok on the Vortech shared windows hosting or do I need to use a shared unix account?

watch out with propanel, about 2 months ago he closed up the forums and now refusaes to respond to anyone,. he is just taking in $$ but not supporting the system anymore. !!!!

Once he tuens off his server, ALL installations will fail because they hcheck his server for license requirements.

Im looking for an alternative because propanel will stop working any day now.

STAY AWAY!!!

do a swearch at webhosting talk, to see a few threads about it. You can even find it with a basic google search now.

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. I saw at the beginning of the thread that Vortech was complaining about eSupport. Does anyone here know if it is worth it or not? I don't want to spend the money if it's not very good and I don't think I want to do Cerberus Helpdesk unless they've made some major improvements.

Personally, I'm pretty happy with Cerberus (and there is a major upgrade around the corner) .. best of all, for a single support mailbox Cerberus costs you nothing.
