Amazon.com problems

Amazon.com incompetance. Man I had amazon.com crazy land experience.

I ordered product...they sent wrong thing. Filled out online return...which didn't work right and wasn't too easy to find, but got a label. They sent same wrong item again...didn't fit description. Couldn't find anyone to call...finally found a form. They respond kinda slowly that the problem is more wide spread than they thought. They can't send another one. Meanwhile they leave the item up on their site, but take supersaver shipping off of it. Meaning you would be able to order the wrong item, but you eat shipping. Then I sent the items back. Never get a credit. Never found an ackowledgement on site. I finally email them thru form and they say there was " After looking into this order, I found that we have erroneously calculated the amount refunded for your return." (Meaning 0 was a miscalculation.) 2 to 3 days it is supposed to appear on statement. We will see. They didn't get anything right. WOW.

I had a similar problem with Buy.com. They had the wrong SKU# for an item and consequentially kept sending me the wrong item. I never did get what I payed for.

only think I can suggest - always works for me when something arrives damaged - is use their contact form to explain your issue. The first response you'll get will be from a rep in India. Send in a response to that email saying your question is not being answered.

Every time I've done this, a US rep has called me directly to work out my issue.

It appears to be all India now. You can only use the form, both times I got someone very polite, but had to explain everything and they were all from India and appeared to be out of the loop. This was wrong shipment... not damaged. I have a feeling those days are gone.

They sent me a marketing survey that doesn't work either. The radio buttons don't work in either browser. If you choose a diff rating in a column, but if the rating is the same it doesn't work. The button moves instead of staying on what you selected. sheesh.
