I understand that if you allow the user name "Guest" to exist in your database, the table definitions and stored procedures in that database are visible to EVERYONE on that shared server.

Only if the guest account is actually enabled though iirc. I'm interested to know which method you did use to hide them though, I know of a couple, and both from what I've been told are unsupported by microsoft and can run you the risk of not getting those PSS calls answered.

yikes! Can't get EM to work if that happens again. Any updates or news on this?

Always keep an extra credit card processing account ready to take orders as a backup, just in case (speaking from experience). I use: 2checkout.com

It's easy to open an account and the charges are reasonable, no need of any monthly activity and no monthly charges. Their new system is great and support is also good.
