Off Site Forum / Off Site Monitoring down.
Seem the box at our other DC took a dive today. We were already working on a new box so that should be done with in a week and get it back up on a new box. The box that was there was a little older box any way so no big loss. We will get it all backup ASAP.

Well we had it just sitting here, it was going to be part of our exchange setup but when we replaced 2 dual PIII systems that did our exchange stuff we ended up only needing one box. So we might as well put this system to good use.

Offline forums/monitoring would have been nice tonight with all of the yo-yo availability problems at Vortech... it's been over two weeks and it's still down. What gives? I know you guys work hard, but us resellers are dying for a reliable means of communicating with your techs and each other in an outage. We're the ones that have to face our customers, and we still don't have the necessary tools that we've been promised...

If not offsite monitoring and real offsite forums, then please at least buy a mailing list offsite and add customer contact emails to it, and blast out an email message as a sort of last-resort "SOS" message. Otherwise, we have absolutely no idea what's being done to correct the problem.

not really much point if the email is down (unless they have offsite email on that list). I say just pay 4.95 a month and host a forum on someone elses servers.
