DNS (Name Server) Failures

Since I already logged in, removed the ns aliases, and updated them I would assume adding the old IPs isn't going to help me. Is there any way to change those aliases back?

I did the same thing - along with registering new ips with registrar.

The old IPs will help because name servers take about 24 hours to update so it will respond on both IPs. We have added the IPs to the system now we are adding them back to named.

Hehe mine started last night and put in ticket went to bed thinking these guys will have it all figured out by AM and got up to have my stress level hit peak. Wouldn't have been so bad if clients couldn't call me. lol

I've made the change in Hsphere, and submitted the change to my registrar. In the meantime could you put the temporary fix back in for me too?

Hey guys put in a trouble ticket but my sites are down again today seems the dns dropped again? Please do whatever you did yesterday to fix it asap. I did make the changes at registrar they said it was going to take 48 hours to resolve.

You're welcome, hoping your Registrar updates those IP's quickly. So far it looks like your account was the only one affected this morning, let me know if you see any other problems. Oh, by the way, I only slightly coordinated the fix, James actually did the 'fixing'.

My Registrar has the correct entries but I don't know how long it's going to take for them to propagate.

Probably just hasnt reached my ISP yet
