H-Sphere Upgrade Policy

Does Matrix have a general policy on upgrading the H-Sphere software? It seems like the current policy is to upgrade at the earliest opportunity. Maybe it would make more sense to let other, smaller hosts uncover most of the bugs and other problems in the RCx.x releases? If Matrix is PSoft's largest customer, and if most of the problems here are caused by H-Sphere updates, it just seems like it makes more sense to wait for a tested and stable release. Especially if the current version is generally stable. As others have mentioned, it does not seem right that our live websites are essentially beta tests for new PSoft releases. Maybe there are issues I am not aware of, but I would be more comfortable with "tested" updates as opposed to being the "testers".

You are 100% right we would do that if the versin we had was stable..

So far we have been unable to get a 99% stable version of h-Sphere. Sure Psoft patchs it all up for us then brings out a new version. As of 2.3 once fully stable we plan not to do any more rc version. As we are the largest reseller some of the errors we get no other H-Sphere host even get.

The reason is psoft thoght no one would ever be able to push or sell resellers like we have on there system.. This we have take and tested this CP in places no one else has..

I hate being the PIG.. But it seems to be getting a little better. I have been bitching and bitching at psoft to get things stable on the reseller side and to get the load down on the CP server to make it more stable.. They said one month i said 4 GB's of ram..

I will do just about any thing to save and make this system work and i think Psoft is behind us but they really need to get on the ball..
