One of my clients is hiring a SEO firm. They set up an FTP User sub-account for them. But, they've replied that they need more access. As a matter of fact, they've said: "We would like to mention that the sent information is the FTP details that we already have with us, however, we need the Server Cpanel login detail, kindly ask your hosting service provider for the same."
I don't know what SEO service providers actually do, but I'm wondering if it's normal (expected) to give a SEO firm this much access. Thanks, Burl |

I would ask your client to ask the SEO firm why they need control panel access.
I never give that information to anyone except the owner of the account. |

They probably just want access to the stats. In cPanel control panel you have to have the credentials to get to the stats. With Hsphere, they don't.
