Simple Signup is HERE!!!
Well here we go ago, being nice.
![]() We have added something called simple signup to H-Sphere, this is a fully custom solution that was made for us and you ( the resellers ) to use for there sites. You can see it working from here http://www.vortechhosting.com/resell...r-reseller.php just click the sinup and off you go. You can now put your web site fully around our custom signup. This has a lot less steps that were not needed in the default signup. To set this up login to your reseller account and go to 3rd party Tools, Signup Config from there it should be easy from there, simple HTML or copy and pasting the right parts from your site should do it. We will not support helping with your HTML code or other things out side the workings of the script. If you find a bug please send it to support@vortechhosting.com and we can have them fixed ASAP. Hope everyone likes it.

All I got were a few refreshes, then it crashes my browser. (IE 7)
Firefox worked ok. And they still list Iowa before the other I states. Ajax stuff is nice, and I do like it much much better than the riginal sighnup system, hopefully they will work out the bugs for IE7 Getting it to work about 50% of the time now with IE7, other times it just hangs.

I seem to be getting the same thing in IE7 kind of. It's just sitting there on me trying to load the other 1/2 of the page. I reported this to the programer I am sure he will be able to fix it.

What do we do after turning the signup on? Which page do the users open in their browsers?

Users would open your signup links like normal. The signup should now be a single page.

Before the form is displayed a couple of page reloads occur, this feels like the page is flashing in my browser/on screen. Would it be possible to add a "display: hidden;" until the page reloads are completed, as such minimizing the flash effect? You might also want to remove the "Start Over" link at the top of the page, as this only goes through the page flashing sequence again.
Other than this; Great work! Sure makes a the signup process more user friendly!... |

The reason Iowa is before all the other I states. This is because the java code behind the scenes of Hsphere sorts by the 2 digit code which is IA of Iowa which makes is the first I state.
I think the signup is ok, I think the issue may be with our design that is causing it to site and load or crash. I will have dean check that out today.. Have you tried turning it on and checking the default layout to see if it also does the same thing generic? If not give that a shot and let me know if it does the same thing, I am almost sure that is being caused by our design.

Brad and Vortech team:
Very nice. This is a great addition. Would it be possible to get the official description on how "Register Domain", "Register Domain Help", "Your Own Domain", and "Your Own Domain" help on the customization page get used? n experimenting I was able to identify the role of everything else. Thanks, Michael Bigos Bigos Web Development www.bigosweb.com |

The package has some error checking bugs that need to be fixed. If you enable SimpleSignup and then disable it again, it will still try to apply the custom formatting options to your signup page. I've submitted a bug report to the developer and they will be providing a patch shortly.

How can people release professional products without testing them first.......
edit... I guess to be fair, hsphere templates has not "officially" released it yet..

Yea it would be a good idea to wait a bit before you start using it, we added it in, but right now I would wait, I did not see this many issues in testing.
