Mssql1 5/4/06
MSSQL1 stopped recognizing its OS drive. We are working now to restore the OS image to a new drive. This server has a separate data drive, so we do not think there will be any data loss at this time.

The server has been up for a few minutes now. We restored the OS image and everything is looking good. All data is intact and is up to date.

Thanks Dean!
Question - do data drives get replaced at regular intervals to avoid end-of-lifetime failures for those? SQL is problematic, as it's often nigh impossible to have clients take regular backups for themselves.
