Down Again?
What happened earlier this morning? I was browsing the forum when everything Vortech stopped. My sites wouldn't load, server status wouldn't load, the forum wouldn't load...
At first I thought it was my router, but I could access the rest of the internet.

There was a brief slow down of no more than 10 minutes this morning. By the time the tech arrived at the data center everything was back up. We believe the PIX firewalls are simply bogging down so we are looking into other options.

Man I am about sick of cisco.. If its not there firewalls or there routers getting attacked there having some other kind of issue.
I just said last week if the pix firewalls f'ed up again i was going to pull them out and put a cisco 7206VXR or a Juniper M5 in there and let it to do the basic blocking/firewall and routing. Looks like we maybe getting one or the other coming at the end of this week or the first part of next. I HATE DOWNTIME... It always happens when I am sleeping..
