New DNS Server Issues with Registrar

Folks,
I have added my Name servers under the Server Alias as ns3.itone.net and ns4.itone.net. I have registered them with my regsitrar register.com and they work fine on that registrar. Almost a week past and they resolve to the correct IP when pinged. But they are causing me problems to add. Godaddy gives me unknown error when I try to add it as a new name server. I contacted there support and they could not do it on there end either. They had to escalate. Today I had a new client that uses ev1 as his name registrar and guess what the same error. Unable to locate ns3 or ns4. So I contacted there help desk and after a long discussion they are telling me that There is no ns record for both servers only an A record. The first two ns servers according to my E Manager has A records as well. They could not add them because they are not responding as name servers. at least that is what the support guy said. I dont know how to go forward. My Registrar took them but so far two different people are still not allowing me to add them. any Ideas.

They seem to be right, when I query ns3.hsphere.cc for the domain itone.net all I see is

which does look a little wrong, I would have expected to see ns3 and ns4 there as NS records as well.

However, my own service domain also looks exactly the same with apprantly two NS record for ns1 and two for ns2 so perhaps it's not wrong after all but still looks a liitle suspicious to me. Perhaps one of the tech gurus like Matt could shed a bit more light on it.

Well to dig even deeper I used ICAN to lookup the Name servers and it shows ns3 and ns4 as not registered. i contacted register.com and they are working on it.
What did you use to query ns3.hsphere.cc for the domain itone.net.
