Hi!
I guess I didn't do my research, when I added a new plan, I added another DNS Zone and this seems to be screwing things up. Now, I finally deleted the plan but I can't figure out how to delete the DNS zone, how would I go about doing this? Please help! Nick |

In your reseller control panel go to E.Manager -> DNS Manager
From there you can add/remove/change DNS Zones. |

In my EManager, when it lists the 2 DNS zones, it only has the edit function, NO delete... it's crazy. Anybody else every had this problem?

that's true, there is no delete button.
Brangwyn, can you verify how to do it, because I cannot see how. I have 2 dns zones, and they don't cause any issues, so I'm not about to try to remove one to figure it out ![]() |

I could have sworn there was a delete button there looks like I was mistaken though.

Make sure you dont have the domain signed up for a website... If its "in use" you can't delete it... This includes CP SSL.

Yeah I have no domain on it, nothing attached to it, not even a server alias. Support told me I should just delete everything and start over again fresh. Man if I would've known adding a second NS zone would be such a pain I never would have... if someone is reading this and thinking about it... DONT DO IT!!! =)

Did you look to see if you have instant alias' for the domain. if so you need to get rid of them as well before the trash bin will shopw up.
another thing to check is to use the search facility in your reseller cp. Search by domain name ir thedomain.com. It will list all service domains, regular domains, third level domains, domain aliases, stopgap domains, and sub domains for that domain. If you've got one hidden or the system thinks you do it should show up here. The only thing you do not get here are instant aliases. |
