None of the above.

Enom, Directi or Tucows are probably all better than most of the ones listed imho.

That all depends, personally if you resell domains via godaddy I don't like their business model, Enom you can get reseller accounts (generally for free via other upline resellers) at their $8.95 starting point which isnt too bad really, I offer my own domain resellers $8.95 start pricing with $7.95 pricing after a $50 deposit via Directi, but lets face it unless your selling 10's of thousands of domains your not gonna make money there anyway.

If your just looking for registrations and not reseller services then I guess just go for godaddy who do have perhaps the cheapest price atm

I agree with Brangwyn about Godaddy's buisness practices, I tend to shy away from any company giving away for free what amounts to many of our bread and butter, ie, web hosting, free web sites, and close to free domains...

Their shopping cart sucks too, every time you think you're done with creating an account you have to continue to opt out of one of their many "value-add" components, like domain parking and email systems etc. Simply a pain in the ass for the extra dollar you save... and if by referring them to your customers you risk losing the customer, I personally wouldn't recommend it.

While I currently use ItsyourDomain as they were the first to offer reseller accounts (and on top of that for free), however they have not remained competitive in their pricing and I will probably switch to enom soon (they seem to have a good system, a decent design, and are competively priced).

Great feedback all. I'm personally still evaluating the domain reseller options so I haven't voted. After looking at Directi, they seem competitive both with price and reseller features (i.e. their "sub-reseller API"). Looking forward to seeing the final results.

The only bad thing I can say about Directi at this stage is their server response times can sometimes be poor using the web interface. They've only just released their .NET API so we've not had a chance to custom build anything of our own yet, hopefully once we do then we can do away with their interface and the response times shouldn't be an issue. Pricing wise they are great though, and I've not had any serious technical issues (like domains dropping out of zones etc) with them at all yet in the last 6 months

I don't resell domains and have been using registerfly for a couple of years now. Never had a problem, and support's been good about timely response to questions. Their new interface is fast and clean. good domain management tools. About a buck a domain more than godaddy at my quantities. Every 2/3 months they have specials that are about a buck a domain less than godaddy.

Bulkregister is not perfect from a cost perspective, but they are impeccable for business practices and customer service.

I humbly disagree - their transfer out procedure is almost as confusing/misleading as NSI's. I was transferring my own domains over to my new registrar and had to read the emails twice to know what to do next.

And for $12 a pop you can get a far better value with just as good "customer service" almost anywhere else.

Did I mention all of your fees at OnlineNIC go toward domain registrations? Not like others where you toss $70 into someone's pocket. (dig!)

EDIT: I realized just now that I have to apologize - clearly you're suffering from buyer's remorse having dropped that $70. Kinda like buying a Nissan - now you have to defend it no matter what good common sense says (okay, I'm half joking). 8-)
