Where do website logs go??
I know they are in: ftp.domain.com/logs/domain.com But I only have like the last few days worth -- and I surely haven't deleted any on either Windows or *nix platforms. Same thing has happened. For one of my Windows platform sites that uses Urchin, all those stats are there, but the raw log files only go back a few days.. For one of my Unix platform sites that uses Webalizer, all those stats are there, but the raw log files only go back a few days.. |

old log files are automatically deleted. If you want to preserve them, you either have to do this manually, or create a script to copy them the the directory/directories of your choice.
You'll have complete logs for any of the stats because they are still required for your stats to work, but the default logs that are automatically created don't stay for long - it's good so that they don't add to your disk usage. |
