All my web sites are down, can't reach the reseller login page, and your phones are not ringing through. Is this the death of vortechhosting?

Same here. WTF?????? Can't get through to support because phone lines are busy. It seems Unix16, Unix22 are both down and all of my Web sites are there with them and have been for a few hours.

Some things are back up, but we need the story
I'd appreciate some detailed post-mortem, once we've reached the 'post' stage. NT44 is still down, e-mail is starting to trickle in but there's about a 4 hour gap in e-mail, and during the past 4 hours I either got a busy signal or total silence when I tried to call support.

I spoke with someone at Vortech around 11:30am (EST) today, and they said something about their router going down, and it should be fixed in a matter of minutes.
Ever since then, the number either gives a busy signal, or says the call cannot be completed. Not sure what's going on, but I sure hope and pray they get it fixed soon! It's good news that things 'are' starting to come back up though! |

I cannot access any of our websites. Traceroute is getting stuck on:
15 colosolutions.demarc.cogentco.com (38.112.1.194) 120.258 ms 119.885 ms 122.137 ms 16 66.103.132.6 (66.103.132.6) 122.162 ms 122.300 ms 122.204 ms some other sites dont even get there... Phones unavailable (what a shame of customer support)... Please at least update the forum! |

There is a problem with "last post" then, because I taka a look on different forum categories looking for "today" updates and cannot find but this one.

I am not able to find the status posts for whats currently going on with the hosting.
Can anyone be kind enough to direct me to the posts that the admin is talking about? I have looked through the other forums and this is the only post that has a date of sept 03 2008. |

Ok, I read the posts but couldnt find a clear explanation to what happened.
We still have not access to any of our websites, they are not resolving. We are getting our email back but no websites. Its incredible how you mismanage your downtimes, your lack of phonelines and customer support. |

I've been looking around and I can't find any other thread about today's issue. I'm all for fixing it first and replying to us later, and I'm sure you all are frantically trying to get this problem fixed.
As the clients, we just need some assurance that it is being fixed so that we can tell our clients that their sites will be up shortly. Was it more than a router problem? If some servers are coming back up while others aren't, does that mean we are all just playing the waiting game, or are there other hardware issues that your techs are now working on fixing? If you do already have other forum posts dealing with this matter, then please post a link where we can go read them. Thanks! |

Can you point the posts that you have been able to find foro_mundohost?
I tried going through Danl post history for his profile and all the posts dates are stuff that occured in late august, and only one post today. |

You guys who can't see most of my posts probably don't have proper forum access, please submit a ticket and I'll give you the correct permissions.
