why can't i get email notification?

am i the only one that this is not working for? I never get email notification when people reply to my posts here and now i am a matrix board junky--i check every 5 minutes to see if someone has replied.

I have abandoned my job, my friends and my family... i hardly ever sleep now because i know some of you live half way around the world from me and you may just reply to my posts--

please, it may save my life if i can get this figured out

I hope that your selected "Email Notification" check box below the "Your Message" text box!

You can set it in your "panel" for email notification by default option is selected.

by the way, also double check your email address you used subscribe to this foum.

When you get an email notification, you must visit to that forum to receive any further notification.

yeah, thanks for all the 'is it plugged in and turned on' tech support--i have checked that stuff more times than i can count. oh well, perhaps it was just not meant to be...
