For over 3 weeks now I am experiencing intermittant issues with rejected logins to mail7 for IMAP and Webmail on mail7. Support moved the ticket to the dead zone otherwise known as Level 3, 2 WEEKS AGO! No action or changes in the situation since that time.
Ticket #ZXS-526281 So it seems here we go again with no response, no communication and no action. At this rate it is less work to move everything to another host than to deal with customers that are pissed off. |

I fought with Vortech support for over 6 months regarding various mail7 problems. Vortech support didn't have a clue then about what was wrong and I guess they don't now either. I bit the bullet and moved all of my customers (including my own) email off of mail7 and onto other mail servers. I have not had the kind of trouble I used to have with mail7 since the switch.
However, on a DAILY basis I am having to submit a trouble ticket over forwarding mail servers being rejected by both Comcast and now Bellsouth. Vortech seems to think that rotating the servers and doing nothing else with prevent mail from being blocked. They are SO WRONG. If they do nothing else (Comcast and Bellsouth have very specific instructions on how to get a server unblocked) which appears to be policy, you know what happens once they rotate back around to the same server that got originally got blocked? That's right it gets blocked again and I have to go and submit another trouble ticket for the same email server, because Vortech only believes in a band-aid fixes. What I want to know is who is causing all the servers to be rejected all of the time? Vortech doesn't seem to know. OPT2004 |

Yeah, it's an on-again off-again thing with some mail servers. I've actually lost customers because of it. I might consider toggling that mail service to get off mail7, but I'm afraid I might get onto another bad server.

It is now 3 weeks with ZERO action on this issue, so much email is backed up in the accounts that moving to another server is out of the question until we can get some form of reliable download. Right now most people on that machine can not even delete messages in web mail!
