Mail9 Status

Hello,

We believe we have the issues with mail9 under control, however there may still be a few hiccups as we repair the mail server.If you have any issues from this point forward please submit a ticket. If you receive any notices from your clients, please make sure they not reporting any issues prior to this email. You can check the status of the mail9 issue in this thread.

Hello Dave
Can you tell us what was wrong and how it was resolved? 5 days is a long time to have a mail server unusable and I am sure a lot of us are curious how such a device could be so difficult to bring back on-line.

I agree with stanj, can someone please explain to us with a little detail, what happened, why it took so long and what is or will be put in place to prevent this from EVER happening in the future.

I think we are all owed at least that.

I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it a hundred more times. If you guys want to become a better company, learn to communicate better. It is SO easy and you are SO bad at it. I just think you guys will have MUCH happier clients!!

I feel the same way about a full explanation. It was NOT EASY to deal with lots of complaints from our customers without giving them information or feedback.
1) What really happened and why our Data Center wasnt able to handle it appropiately?
AND
2)What is being done to avoid this in the future?...

Guess they want to just see if it "goes away" as usual.

Mail9 has always been a problem for me, they have told me time and again it's fixed, and it's not. In June we all went a full day without service and were told they were changing out the machine, and yet here we went through even worse issues with less explanations last week.

I'm still seeing slowness, I'm still not getting all e-mails, some are just not coming. I started the other thread, and should be getting e-mails regarding all the replies posted.....I'm not, and the ones I get are very delayed.

Some of the server's were showing they were running out of disk space. I have someone on Mail0 that has been having issues and they don't appear to be listed. This just cleared up earlier. Wonder if these other issues were causing a bottle neck. Really need an explanation. That much outage time is just nuts, especially on so many servers.

I wasn't aware there was an issue with mail9, please send us a ticket at support@vortechhosting.com so we can look into this further.
