outlook set-up, why I cannot send emails

i have setup my outlook 2003 and I can recieve emails but cannot send. Does anybody know why?

Experienced this with a few clients.

Problem was their internet service provider where you have to use their outgoing mail servers. Earthlink and a few others require this. Comcast does not in chicago.

Once the client used mail.internetserviceprovider.com, sending problem was resolved.

yeah i got that experience too example i have two ISP one is online.com.kh one is telesurfl.com.kh

if i on telesurf connection and i set SMTP to mail.online.com.kh it will error

but lucky i vortech offer me own SMTP i can use mail.mydomain.com it both working fine

you could change the smtp port to 2525 and that should solve it.

Charge.Com has great service and offers quick set up for merchant accounts.

no, they are not, they appear to be just promnoting charge.com because that is the only 2 posts that person made. admin should probably take a look at that account.
