PRESALES - What is a user control panel?

Hi,
Vortech Hosting is looking good. Nice prices. Nice services. Nice name (Vorlons are some of my best friends...)
However HSphere is new to me. I can host unlimited domains. But I can only have 40 customer control panels???? This means I can have less than 40 customers because the admin "uses" some control panels, right?

You are correct, except 40 is the number of control panels that are included free with that particular plan, you can add more at the one time license fee . . . $2.75 each in the Morpheus case.

To me not a big deal. I have a Neo with almost 200 control panels and a Cypher with over 100.

Hello Michael,

You get a certain number of control panels included with any reseller plan. You can always exceed that amount, there would just be a one-time fee for each additional control panel. That fee is dependent on your plan and is displayed on our plans page.

You also do not neccessarily need to give every customer their own control panel. There are lots of resellers that have several "managed" customers that they can put in the same control panel. The individual customers never edit anything themselves, so adding their domains to the same CP is fine.

You are correct in that your administrative CP does count as one control panel off your total.

Michael, I should add this; this is the way of licencing in Hsphere, they charge for extra Accounts, and you'll be charged for extra Accounts over what your plan have for free.
there are many others like us that have many more accounts rather than free accounts in each plan.
