have anyone ask for refund on the downtime?
I was just wondering if anyone ask for refund for the downtime on NT10? If so, what do you get out of it?
I've lost a few customers due to the downtime, and I don't think MR would be able to replace these customer. damnit. Time to search for new hosting again. 99.9% uptime AwishStar

Send in an email.. No problem giving you a refund.. Send the domains on NT10 you have if you can that will help in the downtime credits.
Also send your main reseller user name.. We know this is not good at all.. We have been working on it all day.. ![]() |

Sadly since transferring to Matrix I have lost two customers – not due to this particular downtime, but to some previous troubles that we experienced.
Yes it annoys me, as I loose income but still have to pay my reseller fee, though in fairness to Brad and the team, they have never ever grumbled about giving me one. I’m not sure that the ‘amount’ refunded is correct as I interpret the 99.9% uptime or your money back and the context of this thread http://www.matrixwebhosting.net/foru...=&threadid=476 to mean “to adhere to 99.9% uptime we need no more than 43 minutes per month downtime” that I should be refunded for the full month…………….. I’ve been reselling hosting and other services via the internet for around three years now, not long some of you may say, but during that time I’ve used more web hosts than I care to mention (in fact some I’d be ashamed to say that I used). Out of all of them – I’d definitely say that Matrix / Vortech has been the best, don’t get me wrong, there are lot’s of areas of improvement and some things that do ‘niggle’ me ….. but looking at the ‘Big Picture’ they are miles better than the others. Apart from this reseller account I’ve also used my own dedicated servers, and believe me having been down that road – trying to maintain them etc… etc…. the issues we get here are a blessing. Because it doesn’t matter what the set-up is, no one is immune from service / system failures – and any host who tells you different is living on a different planet. So yes I’ve lost some customers – but I can guarantee you that had I been with some of my other hosts – I’d have lost them all!

You are right and think for the nice words.. ![]() I have been up for about 2 or 3 days now so my replies may be short right now.. ![]() At this point ever thing looks to be stable.. If you need refunds just send an email to billing@vortechhosting.com also send in domains that were down if you know what servers that will also help. We know how long the servers have been down so no need for logs.. ![]() |
