Hsphere and international character set

I wanted to update my old thread, but I couldn't find it...

This is just a note to let potential customer know that Hsphere at Vortech does not support the ISO8859-1 character set.

This means that you cannot really use this system if your customers come from french, german, etc speaking countries.

Why? Because some tools don't work with special characters and the cp does not let you save your contact info using special characters. You'll end up with a lot of ? everywhere.

International date formats are not well supported either.

If you don't let your customers have access to a cp and if you know how to use a shell, then you are fine. Otherwise, you and your customers will have some tough times ahead
