probably a very prudent decision, 4.1 is actually a Major upgrade IMHO not a minor point release as the version number would tend to indicate. And lets face it, right now the last thing you need is big problems on the mySQL servers compounding what's already been a busy day and a half for you guys.

35 finished yesterday. I have the permissions resetting right now, but it isn't quick. The only other issue with the server is memory usage, but this seems unrelated to the upgrade.

Just to let you guys know, that the PayPal module is not working
It shows this in the browsers when someone tires to pay:

https://null:null/null

I needed to reconfigure the paypal payment gateway according to this page:

http://www.psoft.net/HSdocumentation...er/paypal.html

2checkout also needs to be reconfigured.

Sorry folks,

There is a bigger problem, at least for me on the payment gateway.
I went and filled in the fields as suggested in the related article.
the system gave me the error shown below.

I had to select the payment gateway again from the drop down menu
it showed that no payment system was set up, only the choice to set one up.

When I clicked on that to set up PayPal, (I mean I just clicked on the drop down choice) it brought up a new screen that only said ...

<!-- BEGIN ./errors/GenericError --> <h1><font color="red"><center>Generic Error</center></font></h1> Java heap space<!-- END ./errors/GenericError -->

Now, it looks like no one can currently sign up. I will also put in a ticket on this, but resellers beware...

I think vortech is working on the CP server.

I setup PayPal earlier today and it works. But for 2checkout i don't know what IP addresss to put in the box.

Yes, it looks like things are still being worked on. I went back after 15 minutes and PayPal setup worked for me as well this time. Sites are still coming up and down. I am just going to wait on all non critical things until we get the all clear.

There have been a few times in the past where we were in the dark about issues that were being worked on. This time however, not only was there advanced notice (with plenty of time to notify our customers), there have been regular status posts.

Given the magnitude of the work that is being done, I think this is going amazingly well. Most of us were chomping at the bit to upgrade, and I think a little bit of patience is not too much to ask.

Thanks esites. It's nice to finally hear we did something right instead of always being accused of screwing up. LoL

The issue is I don't think people sometimes realize how much larger our cluster is than everyone elses'. This is in no way an easy upgrade as we have 3 times MORE servers in our Hsphere cluster than any other cluster in the world, which means it takes ALOT longer for our upgrade than every other host out there; plus we encounter more issues with upgrades which is why we waited so long to do this one. I was in the office at 3:30am this morning and David & Jeff were still there working on the upgrade 24+ hours after it started.

The techs are working as fast as they can and no amount of complaining, rushing or anything is going to make it go any faster. Trust me, I want it to be over too.

Billing please check your billing settings be sure they are 100% right. We are noticing some other billing issues and as our rebills have not ran fully for 2 days, I think part of it is the restarts we have had to do on the CP crashing. We have some tickets open to psoft already and just waiting on them to look at them. But we are still working to fix other issues and known issues as well.

Brad, first off... great work. I think everything went as well as could be expected if not better than.

You mention checking your "billing settings". I see a Settings > Billing settings option but its not much; just some credit limit-anniversary and notification options. The only other thing I can think of is the Settings > Merchant gateway which looks to be in order. Can you be more specific about what should be checked?
