@mail - ERR Incorrect login or password incorrect

I now have 3 separate customer accounts, all with multiple users getting the "ERR Incorrect login or password incorrect" error message using @mail webmail client. Some get this when trying to login. Others login and can open messages in their inbox with no problem, but then get the error when they try to open a new inbox message. Very sporadic - anyone else having this trouble?

what webmail URL are you using? All webmail (both my own custom login pages and HSphere's webmail login) are working fine for me.

mail.yourdomain.com should take you right to the appropriate login page.

mail2 etc

I noticed this occured when using @mail to access my service plan's email account.

You have to click the "enter your mail server" link at the bottom...

jmbeach, you gave me some tips on that one thanks!!

Actually, logging in is not the trouble, it is after you are logged in and looking at mail in the inbox for the webmail client. If I click on a mail previously viewed in the webmail client = no problem. If I click on a new mail, I now get one of the following message:

Software Configuration Error
The error message follows: Can't call method "open" on an undefined value at /usr/local/atmail/www/libs/Atmail/ReadMsg.pm line 239.

Before, it was the "incorrect login" error, and I still get that when trying to view email - infrequently. Matt indicated a short time ago that they are aware of the IMAP problem, and are looking into it.

IMAP was eating up resources. We restarted it and cleared the problem. My words were that we would monitor it Big difference. Submit a ticket with the message your trying to open for that other error message, its a new issue.

Quite right Matt - monitoring is the correct word. I took the others from the auto-text that appeared below the message Sorry about that. Anyway, whatever was done has apparently cleared the issue up - many thanks!
