New Phone System

Ok good news no bad news in this post.

We have a new phone system coming should be up and going in 10 business days from tomorrow so about the 27th of march.

Good news for you guys is there will be a 800 number for all resellers and our direct customers to use. We will have more phone and all of them will work. Our phones have been taking a dive and is the cause of some dropped calls.

So the full phone system is getting a work over and will also be IP based phones with a backup phone option. Since this is an IP based phone system the company we are getting this system from has the option during an outage like a bad storm to point our main number(s) to any phone(s) we want IE our cell phones, home phones, what ever we want. So I am looking ahead on this one to cover our self even better.

Also the option we have now Option 4 for server status will also be more up to date as the phone system right now is a real pain in the butt to change that message. So this way we can keep you a bit more updated if we get swamped with something big IE an attack, more than one system down etc.

We also hope to make it work with H-Sphere so it pulls your account up when you call by either caller ID Name or Number. If we can do name would be better as then you could call from any phone in your name.

Just something that might help speed things up.

Good news guys, I have setup the phone system and you get to listen to me on the phone system, we still don't have the 800 # setup but we now have a phone system that actually works properly and doesn't hang up at random intervals. As soon as we have the 800 # we'll let you all know.

Not to be an alarmist but -

I heard the new phone system is VoIP !
Does this mean that if you guy's experience a massive
dos attack on your router and get null routed
(like happened a couple of months ago)
the phones won't work either ??
