Weird FTP Issue

I have a client who can ftp into his space with any of the shared domains, but cannot login with his main dedicated domain.

Hits the server fine, just doesnt register his password. Any thoughts?

So they're getting like an invalid password style response ?, the same userid/password works though on other domains under the same account ?

Windows or Unix ?

Unix. Just getting login failed for the main account, but yes, the un/pw combo works on the other domains.
