Assigning dedicated/shared IP addresses on Windows
Hi - I've been searching for an announcement or update about that problem mentioned last month, where a psoft upgrade made it impossible for windows accounts to switch to dedicated IP, as the machines were only allowing a certain number of dedicated IPs after the upgrade.
I'm looking at my windows accounts, and I still don't see the option I used to, which would allow me to switch from a shared IP to dedicated... Has this issue been resolved? |

I think it was resolved, as I have the link in my CP to switch to Dedicated IP - what NT machine are you on?
Are you sure you're looking in the right place (go to domain settings, and choose any domain, it should be there "IP Address") Otherwise, maybe you have dedicated IP's disabled for that account (check your hard settings for that hosting plan) |

I'm entirely on Windows servers and I'm having no issues changing domains back and forth between shared and dedicated IPs. If you're still having trouble, maybe submit a TT. Best of luck!

Actually this was a Windows bug that had been discovered that would bring an error at 30 ip's on the server. 29 ok and 31 ok... but not 30. We now know that to overcome this barrier we simply make sure that we add 31+.
