telnet
Hi there I want to telnet into my site
I bringup my command prompt type telnet then open, then my domain name but it says could not open connaction connection failed...??? what am I doing wrong? -John |

Telnet is a highly insecure method of remote control, you need to use SSH, a free program for using SSH is PuTTY

PuTTY is easy to find: Direct to download of latest, http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/.../x86/putty.zip
You need to enable SSH access, go to FTP section, and flip the switch on SSH to ON, also this is only for unix, no remote methods available on Windows except CP |
