Good news...

We had interviews with about 10 new techs to today, we found 2 so far we like and they will be starting tomorrow. We are going to also hire one or 2 more techs putting us at 6 on site and 4 remote techs. This should solve the phone issues from 7am until 11pm. We are also looking at to bring back Live chat 27/7 as well more info to come tomorrow but just wanted to give everyone an update.

Oops scratch that . . . looks like Aaron is no longer with us.

Aaron, Dean, Vantage, John, Bladesnitz, Big Dave, Carly . . . man you've had a lot of really good techs Brad . . . is the turnover normal for the industry. I really don't know . . . I'm a one man show.

Well most have moved on to like Progress Telcom, Level(3) James was here almost 3 years, Dean like 2, arron over 2 years. They come they go. Not sure if it's normal I mean we pay good and it's rather laid back here unless something is going on.

Brangwyn and your self would make super off site techs. You guys know my email send over an app.. Not sure other customers would like that to much though, but I can't see it being any different then some of our local guys that do there small hosting on the side. I have always been open to clients becoming customers if they would like. They know 3 parts of the system at least for level 1 or basic forum support. I think this should be made in to another thread.

As a follow up to my complaints posted a few weeks ago, I have to say that I experienced a few technical glitches on my domains some days ago that were solved in a matter of minutes by a very responsive and efficient support. Congratulations for this improvement and for your new staff.

I gotta agree with Soky on that one.

I've been working in communications/long haul networks for a number of years, and my experience is that NOC centers/tech support type departments generally do have a high turn-around. Be it the stress levels, hours, or simply an even better opportunity down the road.

Given the number of techs you've kept for 2 or more years, I'd say you're probably doing pretty good. Unless you lose a number of techs within a short time, then I'd say there is something going on that's either pissed people off or scared them.

More good news as well. We will also be adding another sales person, so the people that call sales and can't get though that will change in a few days as well.

The problem was Craig has done sales for us for 6 years, him also being an owner he is rather busy also. So we will bring on a new sales person for sales they will also be a there to help with billing/sla/tos disputes as well.

I think you guys will like all the new changes coming. We also have Live Chat up and running I hope to have all the techs on it with in the next few days 24/7. But live chat will only be Level 1 support simple things or to answer question like why is a service or server down along with sales.
