ive been going up there for the last 8 years now. the people i go with have been for about 12 or so. we may have bumped into each other without even knowing it

I would love to go to Australasia ,BUT I'm the kind of person that even eats standing up, if I'm in a plane for three days, they better have something very complicated for me to do.
Christmas is kind off quite in our place the last few years my brother moved to PA my sister in law and her fimily to Northen Canada is just the two of us and three cats.

watch out for my mad mate and his tractor with no brakes..... maybe you even know the Freemans up there. I was there for the millenium dawn and dolphins were the first thing we saw as the sun rose!
i'm going friend visiting and hiking round the waikato hills over new year, and hopefully a trip up the waikato river in my mates boat. i was inspired by this hilarious article i came across http://risr.10.free.bm/ but it may have put him off, as its his boat.

After all this I'm really temptated (sorry if my english isn't correct...) to go to NZ. I know I have many far cousins there because a part of my family emigrated to Australia and NZ at the beginning of last century from Friuli (northeast of Italy).

No i come back on the 11th. alas it would be nice to stay longer but i will have run out of money by that stage, and probably have a tonne of emails to read.

hmm i know of the dodgy tractor at the camp ground there, and i know the owners Stephan and his wife.

Yeah i was there for the millenium sunrise too, well what little bit of it we saw. as the sun came up the fog rolled in and we didnt get to see much of it. the stink bit was that our friends down on the beach saw the whole thing lol. should have stayed in bed
