Can I get a sales person?

I've called the sales department two days in a row now and not been able to get anyone on the phone... strange not being able to get ahold of a SALES staff... support I can see, service-- sure-- but sales?!? Heh...

Are you calling during business hours? or outside regular business hours .. you should have more luck during regular hours as theres more people on-site usually.

Sales is only is 10am - 6pm for phone if you leave a message they will call you back, if you send an email to sales@vortechhosting.com you will get an answer really fast..

First of all every phone call I have placed as been between the hours of 11 and 4 PM central time. Where leaving a message for a call back is concerned, I have quite a few other things going on that do not allow me to stop what I am doing and discuss these sorts of issues in the middle of my day-- that is why I call when I have a free moment.

Why are all my 17 posts negative? Well, perhaps if I had the free time to do things like 'find all posts by user' and read up on other people who use the Votech forums, or sit around waiting for a call back from the sales department I would also have time to come here just for fun, to leave postive feedback, however that just is not the case.

I should note I just called AGAIN, third day in a row at 3:42 pm central time and got no answer. What were those business hours again? Ha.

W0rdie, you seem unreasonable. I am sorry to say that it is near impossible to have someone pickup a phone for you when you would like. You expect them to be available by phone, but not you. Vixen, amen about leaving a message. Drives me batty. Most businesses have gotten away from this. Having someone glued to a phone 24/7 gets to be a waste of human resources. Certain businesses have to do this...like answering services. Why not use email? Then you have your answers in writing and nobody is waiting around. Glad you got it resolved tho.

In my real job, I often ignore the red voice mail light for hours just because I hate the phone so much (I don't even like to call my friends). I deal with e-mails right away. That's my weird way of setting up priority service.

In the real world business hours are business hours for a reason. The issue is more or less resolved but I still find it pretty absurd.

Leave a message, I know you have not left a message because for the last 2 days there have been no voice mails on the sales line. They are all checked if there is any and called back. Sales gets busy just like support does as we deal with a LOT of customers, we also very large customers as well that some times demands a lot of sales time, a $10,000 sale to UN will take a LOT of sales time. That is compaired to a $35 reseller account. I am sure you can under stand and see the difference there. But we for sure do no want or try to turn any one away but you must leave a message.
