Please check server date/time settings
Hi - just noticed after some updates yesterday that at least one server's date-time settings are now out of whack (nt18)..
Just FYI: Many of us run time/date-sensitive applications on your servers, and it should be standard operating procedure for you to synchronize and double-check the clock settings on all servers on a regular basis - particularly after a system, hardware or software update. Thanks |

I believe all clocks are synconized, and it is a standard practice.

Hi - I thought so too, but apparently not, ...as someone in support needed to change the date/time manually. I guess this is one those those "little" details that can slip through the cracks.
Anyway, this was just an FYI - In case the server date/time setting isn't part of the normal checklist IT uses during server updates and changes, I'm just saying it *should* be given today's highly date-dependent applications... In fact, now I've got to go through a large database of my client's statistics, and manually update entries for most of the past day - somewhere around 20,000 entries... ARGHHH!!! ![]() |

Unix servers are updated but windows servers are not. I think there is a setting to make them do this. I will have someone see if we can turn that on..
BUT FYI: Please don't send in a ticket if your going to come here and post the same thing looking for the same answer. We have went over this many times.

Why are some unix servers set differently tho.. I am on same time slot as vortech, but some unix servers are 4hrs ahead. Like unix4. Isn't it odd for there to be a difference.?
