Can anyone help me.
I have registered a domain name to use as the service domain for my reseller account with godaddy I read somewhere that in order to use custom nameservers I need to setup with my registrant to get the ns.getsavvy.biz and ns1 so that it is registered with top level dns servers. OK. I assume you add it to the domain host section of godaddy but I get the following error The nameserver modifications you requested for DNS.GETSAVVY.BIZ have FAILED. Error: Parameter value policy error -IP ADDRESS NOT AVAILABLE - 65.57.231.100 The only thing I can think of it is 12 hours after I have registered the domain and it may not have propegated through yet Any help appreciated Geoff

You should be able to add them basically the minute godaddy has approved the domain purchase. Your definately entering the data into the right place, I wonder if they dont yet allow ".biz" to be registered as Nameservers though.
I'd suggest sending godaddy tech support an email. Just one thing have you created the aliases for the nameservers yet in your control panel ? (though I don't actually think that should matter at all) |
