We'll, I have them all under my service log in. I've attached a picture of where I turned it off .. let me know if I can help anymore.

All - it takes awhile for the propogation to take place. Ours still isn't completely finished.
After I turned off mail and then turned it back on, our Name Servers were updated within about 15 minutes. In dos, I did a ipconfig/flushdns and then tried pinging it again and it came up with the new ip and moved me to mail9. I had to shut down outlook and restart it for it to recognize the new ip. We were receiving emails from gmail and yahoo within a few minutes, but I've sent stuff from within Vortech that still hasn't arrived as well as from a few other accounts outside. |

Well it is Sunday morning about day 10 for this issue and still no resolution. I have had no email for the last 10 hours into my account on mail 7. This is a situation which does not occur with that email account as it averages 200 to 300 emails a day from various list. I am able to log into those lists and see that there is at least 40 emails set since I last received email. I also have sent email from web forms on my site which are now over 2 hours over due.
How does Vortech expect me to continue to stay in business when my business relies on email? |

first time poster...
i have seen any issues come and go but this one has to be THE most frustrating of all. again, the lack of communication is not helping. i am at my wits end. we need an update - PLEASE!!!!!!!! |

Sunday afternoon, 4pm PST and my mail7 is dead. Not receiving or sending anything.
My problem is beyond my own (my main biz is on mail7) but I just transferred a new client to my/VT servers... got them setup, started mail and guess what server they got assigned to? Mail7. "Welcome to my new hosting, client." Yea right... Cmon guyz, this email stuff is getting unbearable. |

Oh, I had 2 clients report last week that they've sent me emails that I've never seen/heard of before. I thought they were crazy, now i know why...

NOw it is hurting my pocketbook. I had two clients cancel on me this morning and more very angry calls that it has not been resolved after almost 2 weeks and I have nothing to tell them. The answer from submitted tickets is "The Level 3 tech will look at it when he comes in Monday." Servers are down and Level 3 support is lounging on the Beach!!!!!

I am glad that i moved 75% of customers i had on mail7 to new server over the weekend so atleast they will have their e-mails working when they come back to work on monday.
The biggest problem we had is moving customers who had over 50 mail boxes. Finally we found a nice tool which allowed us to move mails much faster and thought of sharing this information with you with my fellow resellers. imapsync @ http://freshmeat.net/projects/imapsync/ runs on perl but a very handly tool to migrate mail between two imap servers. This helped us to move 100s of mail boxes over the past 2-3 days between servers. Cheers |

yeah i was able to move my own account. but i cannot wait for the phones to start ringing in the morning.
i have NEVER had a service such as this go down for so very long without any proper updates or explanations whatsoever. and this is not the first time this has been said in this thread or this forum. i do not understand why we cannot be given the common courtesy of periodic communications when there is a technical problem. |

I have learned that it does not make any difference how much we complain about how much Vortech Technical Support sucks these days. They don't care at all anymore about anything. I blame the management of the company and not the techs themselves.

NEWMEM what you are saying is so true. i have been here for a few years...actually cannot even remember how long...but i DO remember seeing Brad as well as a general abundance of Tech activity on the boards. i used to come here and actually get information...
not so anymore. it is quite unsettling. Vortech, i have been trying to stick by and give you the benefit of the doubt. please make things right. |

Can someone in USA call Brad or Criag on monday morning and see what they are up to? Also, what i heard is Level(3) will only get back to mail7 on monday and nothing has happend to it over the weekend.
