I did some work in a small S. American country. Domain registration was entirely through the mail - no online whois.

Theres actually sufficient COM objects installed on at least a few of the windows servers that I've seen that would basically let you create your own "dnsreport" .. I had a fairly primitive one I wrote a year or so back that did the job for me.

Nice to have another option there to use though, nice stuff easyarabia

Hi all,

It's been 3 years now since I wrote this thread. I just would like to thank all of you who supported the website.

I have just uploaded the new version of the website, it is faster now and much easier to use.

I'ts my main whois site, i love it! :-)

It would be helpfull if you could build a google toolbar button too. Then i can just put the ip in the search field and click your logo and go.

But i prefered the older colour. Why not have several css templates the user can choose from? The green just looks wrong, or maybe it's just me :-)

i use it exclusively for my whois lookups as well... i love this site!

Very nice site. I copied the domain from the browser address bar and pasted it in (omitting http:// but leaving the trailing slash). It didn't like the trailing slash. Guess I shouldn't be so lazy. Good job.

Wow! I know there are some guys in this forum using the site but never expected this!

As for the toolbar, I'll try my best to have it online by next weekend. I'll take a note of the CSS templates feature and see if it can be added with the next update as well.

I'm aware of this issue, it can be fixed but it will affect other directories like images/ etc.. so I kept it this way.

Nice site. loads quite fast !

I like the option wherein you can check the whois of all the extensions on clicking them...

Can you take off the GREEN color U have for LINKS

Also try to have the email ids as images

(good example : http://whois.domaintools.com/cfbtr.org)

Just wanted to say that your site no longetr works on my pda (palm). I needed to do a lookup and only the header would show.

I use it often on my pda so a simpler version would be good too....

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know that i get error quite a lot:

ERROR: IP Range Reserved by IANA.org

I then have to go to whois.sc to look it up...
