Any news?
Do you have any news about the problem with @mail? I wasn't aware of it and now I have some really bothered users behind me!
Thank you. |

I've received reports today that the problems with @mail and Mail11 appear to have been corrected overnight

seem to be having the odd alias malfunction on mail1 again, as well. Mail actually disappears w/ an alias, whether it is a real mailbox or not. I didn't recieve expected email then tested and found this. By removing the alias a regular mailbox seems to work, but the mail sent was gone other than the one right before. In other words mail sent w/in a few hours was gone and obviously the days old mail was missing and there were no bounces issued this time. Before when alias's broke there was a return error being produced. Seeing too many issues w/ alias that started for some reason so heads up on aliases.
Update: Aliases appear to have started working again, the ones i am checking are now going thru, some were returning bounces of unknown users, which i don't understand at all. So someone may have dealt w/ mail1

Powvex, thanks, I did try to login from CP mail settings link with same results. Had to take care of some other stuff and when I tried it again about 2 hours later all seemed and still seems "ok" now. Touch wood! SRW

Well a user reported this to me yesterday regarding mail11.
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'xxxx', Server: 'mail.xxxx.com, Protocol: IMAP, Server Response: '', Port: 143, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F |
