Just wanted to give you guy's a headsup. The update is going just fine, its currently processing some data in the database, namely plans, which there are plenty of.

Once HSphere itself is updated, we'll have to take down the database to convert it to UTF-8 so it will support some additional features.

really looking forward to new stuff! any idea on time frame for completion?

Upgrade is still going, just give it a little time. It has to upgrade the DB as well so that takes a little time since our DB is SO big..

Way too excited here... Can't wait to finally switch all my accounts to Vortech!

My other provider switched a couple of weeks ago and everything has been pretty stable so far.

Wouldn't it have made sense to do this after hours?

We are doing this so that we have PSoft available in case of problems. Had we done this late hours and PSoft wasn't available, well, then it would be down for much longer.

Anyway, I'm upgrading the system database now.

After hours for who? Vortech hosts sites from all over the world.

Things are still going well. Upgrading Postgres on the system DB server to ensure it supports the UTF-8 encoding that Psoft is now using with HSphere.
