PostgreSQL server version on pgsql1 is pretty old now... 7.1.2 if I remember correctly.
Isn't it time to upgrade it to a more recent version, like 7.3.x...? It's open source so it shouldn't be very hard to do it. Thank you ![]() Vortech support ticket number: 75296 |

I dont think it just as simple as upgrading things whenever they want. I would guess everything needs to be approved by psoft before being installed otherwise they may not support it.
The last thing Brad wants I'm sure, is psoft refusing to support something becuase he's gone and upgraded without getting their ok. |

I perfectly agree with you Brangwyn, anyway, after many months I think it's time to ask this authorization to Psoft if needed...
I am sure Psoft will approve this, as in their website ( http://www.psoft.net/HSdocumentation...min/pgsql.html ) they say: "WARNING: H-Sphere requires Postgres version 7.1 or higher" and 7.3.3 is higher... ![]() |

I agree, I think normally though psoft do upgrade components with each new release as they see fit, maybe check their forums to see if they've approved it and save Brad a bit of work
