IP Update: pgsql1.hsphere.cc

Today we changed the IP for 'pgsql1.hsphere.cc' in accordance with the IP Migration we announced a few weeks ago.

The new IP for pgsql1.hsphere.cc is "216.157.145.51". The old IP is still present on the machine so this will NOT cause downtime for your sites.

Next week, we will move the services for 'pgsql1.hsphere.cc' to its own physical server (It presently exists with 'mysql1.hsphere.cc'). At that time, DNS should be updated. Be sure to check your scripts to ensure they are pointing at the new IP or the hostname and not the old IP.

We will be moving 'pgsql1.hsphere.cc' on Monday, December 15, 2003. Downtime is estimated to be no more than 30 minutes.
