Seeing as its not something all that critical newmem you might want to give Brad and co a chance to get the dll upgrades, IP renumbering, rebuild of nt26 & nt27 out of the way first and then give them a reminder. Looks like they got enough on their hands right now .

I know their hands are full rite now.....but I think for adding these to the monitor they only need to do a few clicks.

bcos what if NT28 goes down? the siren won't go off and my site will remain down......

True, but we (well Vortech) actually managed ok before we even had monitoring of any sort available too which is why I don't think it's something thats super super urgent.

It's been months since we last deployed anything that was not a P4.

NT28 is a dual 2.4GHz Xeon with 1GB of RAM and 72GB of drive space. That CPU/RAM configuration is the minimum for all new web, mail and SQL servers.

1GB is enough for IIS usually newmem, unless all sites are set to 100,000 page performance or more (increased caching basically) 300-400 domains would be lucky to be using half of that (though IIS will allocate more than it's actually using anyway).

heck I've run 30 domains off a box with 128Mb on it before and folks were happy with the performance
