what is Summary Disk Usage?

When adding a plan there are slots for:
Summary Traffic
Disk space quota
Summary Disk Usage

I assume Summary traffic is bandwidth per month and Disk space quota is web space but what is the last item?

I am actually a little confused on how it affects new plan creation because all the pre-existing plans seem to work as always, but they are not setup for summary disk usage. I haven't created a new plan since this change so I don't know if you end up having to use it in your plan.
The main thing it does effect is how YOU are charged, as a reseller. All your disk usage is combined for anything using disk space, as opposed to when you got so much space for email, db, web, ftp etc... The good thing is it is simplier and it is based on usage rather than allocation.

"Summary Disk Usage" refers to the average disk space used over a specified period, with that period being a maximum of one monthly 'cycle'.

For instance, if you are 4 days into your monthly 'cycle' and your disk usage each of the four days is 85MB, 104MB, 124MB, and 137MB (increasing slightly each day as you add more content to the site), then your 'Summary' Disk Usage (AT THAT TIME) would be 85+104+124+137 divided by 4, or 112.5MB.

would be nice if Summary actually was correct, though. Unless if my CP is just misbehaving, it's way off.

Except for the small fluctuations with mail storage, all the accounts under my reseller account are about 600mb. I'm currently 2 days away from a new cycle (so about 27-28 days into my cycle) and my summary shows the following:

Avg: 169.36/2500 MB
Last day: 575.16 MB

Now, if the average is actually how you say it is, shouldn't it be closer to 575.16mb?
