Please move NT49 as soon as possible. I'm working on a project in PHP5 that will be deployed on that server.
Glad to see Vortech is getting with the times. =) |

where can we watch the update process server by server? I mean, there's a problem with some sites that I couldn't figure out. I need to be sure about this version upgrade.

yeah that is great except when they make a change and it wipes out an entire site because of an upgrade. The goal is zero downtime and to know what the upgrade is specifically and a list of what will be changed BEFORE it is implemented. This started out good with asking the leaqd time to us, This documentation is normally provided free of charge. We then could, as resellers, send this information to our customers giving them ample time to program their sites accordingly. Instead we wake up to phones ringing off the hook and clients sites down. Thats all. I also think with only 15 replys to the survey maybe a survey should have been emailed to all VT clients to the email address on the billing record. This way the VT customer is sure to be in the loop on changes that are definatley going to effect thefunctionality of web sites. |
