oh yeah, does Knoppix count ? If anyones a little scared of Linux but would like to try it out, make sure you give knoppix a crack, its a CD bootable linux distro so you don't need to worry about paritioning windows boxes or anything just to try linux.

Win2K Pro and Debian for the most part. My favorite OS of all time was BeOS and yes I cried when they stopped development. Is this too sad to post? Eh whatever.

If only more people ran it then I could get Brad to buy me one for the office, I do love OSX most people don't even know its based on BSD (FreeBSD 5 now), and most don't even know there's a terminal app to use, its fun when I get to show them.

Yeah I use the terminal all the time
When Apple made the switch to OS X it's like a whole new OS. I haven't had a crash in two years. I leave my system on 24 hrs a day and only put it to sleep. My current uptime is 31 days and that's with hammering the machine all day long using Photoshop, illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, Final Cut Express, word, excel, multiple browsers, reading email, listening to webradio or mp3's, transfering via FTP, using SSH and running Apache and PHP because I use my machine for local testing
Now my sig is really true because they just came out with the new iLife software that has Garageband. I can now do multitrack recording on my Mac for under $50 and plug my guitar right into my machine and play music again with total control over amp style and effects. The loops that come with it are really cool and I'm able to make my own with the built in drum kits and software synths. I'm getting a usb midi controller next week!

Sorry about the ramble.
