Has any one installed Twiki on an H-Sphere unix server?

Jus did a search for "twiki" and it looks like no one has ever mentioned it on this forum... It looks like a powerful wiki software and i am trying to install it on my unix server...but with no luck.

Has anyone installed it on their Reseller package? Were you sucessuful??

I am finding it v. complicated to install as it requires CGI and all that... Any info / guidance with twiki is welcomed!

Cheers!

Jamskee

No Wiki-ness or at least PHPness

Did you ever figure out how to install your wiki?
I'm going to be looking into it and I'm taken aback a bit by the complete lack of wiki discussion. Hoping someone has some pointers.

I have a prexisting installation form my previous host which automatically created a PhpWiki for me. Now I have ot create it from scratch. Any advice would be welcome.

I have given up with Twiki as it too complicated to setup when php wikis like Wacko wiki or another variant which has similar features like Wikka wki have an easy install procedure.

I am currently using Wacko wiki and seems to do most of what i want...

phpWiki?

Thanks, thats good to hear. I'm going to use phpWiki since we have a site already for it. Just wondering if there were any snags you had in using the tools on this site. You just created the appropriate database and php is already supported right?

Sorry, I'm new to this provider and I don't know much about it since I didn't set things up.

no its a breeze to set up. most php wikis have an installer and as long as you follow all instructions and protect/unprotect the appropriate files then you should have no problems...
