Anyone had problems on the mail6 server today? I was getting mail up until about lunch and then all of a sudden I keep getting a server not responding error. Can't send or receive. Emailed tech support from my AOL account (yes, I said AOL...but hey, at least I can get mail that way today!). Anyhow, they said there were no problems and they could log into my account from the office just fine. Don't know what's up but I still can't get in tonight. I'm using Outlook - and have not changed anything at all. I didn't even shut it down, it just started all of a sudden. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

We can't do anything about that. There's a problem at the recipients end.

Hi Brian, the recipient which is hivemail.kf.com.sg is also currently in the mail7 server on vortechosting. We check the settings on the webmail of the client in vortechosting. Everything is in order, it was working the night before but it stopped working today. They keep boucing back the mail. And even the webmail link in the control panel cant login to the account itself. >>Login Details - The server responded: -ERR Incorrect login or password incorrect. Check you have the correct username and password for the account << This was the message that was shown when i try accessing the webmail via the control panel which should not be the case. Would appreciate your advise on this. regards Last edited by Dreamzz : 04-12-2005 at 01:37 AM. |

Dreamzz, I have experienced a similar issue on mail7 some days ago but with aliases and mail forwards, in this cases i have deleted the alias or mail forward , create it again and the problem was solved.
Is not that simple for an email account, because all mail in it will be lost. |

Whatever it may have been, it seems to be working now. I sent a test mail to that box which made it as I was able to login to webmail and check.
