Webmail Upgrade

Hello,
Because of the recent changes in webmail you may be experiencing some issues logging on. Please realize this was done for the security and stability of the server and we are working to solve the minor issues that occur due to the upgrade. You should please note the following:
  • - Automated Login through Hsphere's "Login" link in the e-mail section of your control panel will not work for a short time. This is because @mail switched it's platform from Perl to PHP. We are working on solving this issue. Clicking the link will bring you to the @mail login screen.
  • - Due to DNS propagation, some clients may not be able to get to the new interface right away. Depending on where you are in the world DNS propagation could take 24-48 hours however only in rare instances.
  • - If you cannot get to the webmail interface you can try this 2 other URL's that will bringing you to the proper login screen:
  • http://webmail.hsphere.cc/index.php
  • http://216.157.131.123/index.php


Again we apologies for any inconvenience this causes you or your clients, however this was a critical upgraded. If you have any problems that the above post cannot solve, as always, please submit a support request @ http://www.vortechsupport.com.

great, i just wish to be notified BEFORE the upgrade and not after I have personalized webmail pages for my customers and they all ring my phone for the errors..... change atmail.pl to atmail.php login form... any way another issue (I already sent a ticket) is that there is no forward button and some addresses from the add book are missing.

But a Upgrade its a Upgrade hoe for the best with webmail finally

I've gotta agree with F on this one. Thanks for the upgrade . . . BUT . . . You've got to let us know at least a day ahead of time about such upgrades. It makes us look stupid.

Wow Vortech, nice upgrade! Looks great! Thanks!

1 question:

The new "start" page summary shows mailbox quota at the bottom. Mine is currently (Used 6725 Kb of 81920 Kb)

Does this mean mail is finally using our disk space quota?

Does that also mean Vortech is finally NOT going to delete messages from our mailboxes?

As long as a mailbox is under quota, or even over quota and new incoming messages are bounced, IT SUCKS WHEN YOU GUYS PURGE THE MESSAGE STORE!

Mail has always been using your disk space, that's normal. We will still purge messages off of the mail sever when the mail server gets too full.

I didn't know about this upgrade until i visited the forums.

I didn't visit the forums until a client called me saying he could no longer log in to webmail accounts from the control panel.

Evidently, the auto login from CP is known as noted above, and a solution is being worked on (per my ticket response too) . . . i'm holding my breath, as are my clients.

I have "NO UNDERSTANDING" when you guyz operate like this. So there is not much for you to appreciate during this change over. Poor . . . just poor.

@mail still broken?

Even using the links provided in this thread, all webmail login attempts fail. Is it me, or are some of you still seeing issues.
(And yes, I've put in a ticket!)

My bad- mis-adressed the ticket. Besides, using the webmail.hsphere is working for me now, though it does give the login fail message half the time.

When will automated login be fixed?

I am not able to get spell check to work in @mail. when i click the spell check button i get a red border around the body of the message, but nothing after that. I highlight a misspelled word and nothing. Any ideas? am I doing it wrong?
